Help everyone find other beekeepers in the UP. Click on the Upper Peninsula Beekeepers Map page to enter where your bees are (or will be after you get them this spring). I think it will be interesting to see where we are now and watch the spread over time. Please help to spread the word whether you have your own bees or have an interest /passion for our pollinators.
The date for ordering bees is February 17th from 6 to 8 in the upstairs conference room at the Marquette Food Co-Op 109 W Baraga Ave, Marquette, MI 49855.

Please note you will be making three payments:
1. for the bees made out to Ed Wright and dated March 1, 2014
2. for the cage fee made out to Ed Wright and dated March 1, 2014 this check will be torn up after the cage is returned to him.
3. club ordering fee can be cash or check made out to Michelle Landis this will offset the cost to get the bees and return cages.
The expected arrival date is April 15 this date is subject to change according to the weather and other conditions.
Newbee's now is the time to start ordering your wooden ware so that you can get it and assemble anything that you may need to assemble and finish the outside. If you need help deciding what you need to start with contact the club.
