Dave and Sue Payant brought 7 different flavors of honey back with them from a recent trip to France. We had a honey tasting contest at our annual fall potluck and here are the results
Answers to the "Flavors of France Honey Tasting Contest" are as follows:
1. Dandelion
2. mix w/ nuts
3. Linden/Basswood
4. of the Forest
5. Sunflower
6. Raspberry
7. Chestnut
There was a 3 way tie for first place with 5 correct (Deb Rolig, Mo Striler and Julie Swanson). The winner was drawn from these three names and Mo Striler won a jar of Forest Honey from France.
